Build your career with a local team that values skilled work and treats its people the way it treats its customers. We’re always looking for dependable talent across sales, installation, and support who want to do the job right and grow with a company that stands behind what it delivers.
Exteriors by Global Home hires across the exterior remodeling trade: in-home sales, field installation, and production management, working out of Springfield, New Jersey and Trevose, Pennsylvania. The company serves homeowners in New Jersey, eastern Pennsylvania, and northern Delaware, installing replacement windows, siding, roofing, doors, and seamless gutters. Most field and sales roles are open to people with no prior industry experience, because the training happens here.
Exterior remodeling is one of the few skilled fields you can enter without a certificate or a four-year degree. In New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware, the credential to sell and install this work sits at the company level, not the individual, so a motivated newcomer can start earning and learning on day one. What separates a good career here from a dead-end job somewhere else is the quality of what you get to work on and who trains you. This page lays out the roles, the skills that matter, how the trade actually works, and how to apply.
Why build a career here
A real trade, learned on premium work
Where you learn a trade shapes how far it takes you. Installing entry-level product for a churn-and-burn shop teaches you less than installing the best systems in the industry for a company homeowners trust.
Established since 2001
Two decades in business means a steady pipeline of work across three states, not a company that vanishes when the season slows down.
Premium product lines
You train and certify on Infinity from Marvin, James Hardie, ProVia, and Owens Corning. Factory training on top-tier systems is a skill set you carry for your whole career.
We train, you grow
No experience needed for most field and sales roles. We teach the product, the install standards, and the safety. Your job is to bring the work ethic.
Room to move up
The people running our crews and consultations started somewhere. There is a clear track from entry role to lead to management for those who earn it.
Work backed by reputation
An award-winning name and a lifetime workmanship warranty mean the jobs are done right, so you are proud of what you leave behind.
Benefits that support the work

Why the supervised experience matters, especially in New Jersey
New Jersey is moving from simple contractor registration to individual licensing, and the state's new framework rewards documented, supervised experience and apprenticeship-style training. Time spent learning the trade the right way under an established employer is exactly the kind of experience that counts. In other words, the work you do here is not just a paycheck. It is a record that follows you and opens doors.

How the trade works
Licensing, credentials, and safety, explained
One of the best things about exterior remodeling is that you can start without a license or a degree. Here is how the credentialing actually works across the three states we serve, so you know what to expect and what you will gain.
Contractor registration
New Jersey requires home improvement companies to register with the Division of Consumer Affairs and carry liability coverage. As of 2026 the state is adding individual licensing that rewards supervised experience and apprenticeship. This sits at the company and career level, not something you need before you apply.
HICPA registration
Under the Home Improvement Consumer Protection Act, contractors doing home improvement work in Pennsylvania register with the Attorney General's Office and display that number on their contracts. Again, this is a company credential, not a barrier to being hired.
Business registration
Delaware requires a contractor business license and registration rather than a statewide competency exam for exterior remodeling. Specialty trades like electrical and plumbing are licensed separately, but window, siding, roofing, and gutter work is not.
The federal credential you actually earn: lead-safe certification
Much of the housing across New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware was built before 1978, when lead paint was still common. Federal law requires that renovation work disturbing paint on those homes, including window and door replacement and siding work, be done using lead-safe practices under the EPA's Renovation, Repair and Painting rule. A professional employer trains its field teams in those practices and works under certified renovators. That training is a real, portable credential you take with you, and it is one more reason to learn this trade somewhere that does it right.
Safety and factory certification
Field work follows OSHA safety standards, including fall protection at height and ladder safety, which we train and enforce. On top of that, manufacturers like James Hardie, Marvin, ProVia, and Owens Corning offer installer certification programs. Exteriors by Global Home holds elite partner status with these brands, which means the people who install for us are trained to the standard those manufacturers demand. Those certifications make you more skilled and more valuable for your entire career.

Questions people ask
Careers at Global Home, answered
Do I need experience to work in exterior remodeling?
For most field and sales roles at Exteriors by Global Home, no. We train installers, brand ambassadors, and sales consultants from the ground up. What we look for is reliability, a good attitude, and the willingness to learn. Experience helps for lead and management roles.
Do I need a license to get hired?
No. In New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware, the contractor registration that lets a company sell and perform home improvement work sits at the business level, not with each employee. You can be hired and start earning without holding any license yourself.
What states and areas do you hire in?
We hire across our service area: New Jersey, eastern Pennsylvania, and northern Delaware, working out of Springfield, NJ and Trevose, PA. Field roles travel within that region.
What roles are open right now?
We are currently hiring an In-Home Sales Consultant and a Production Manager. We also build a bench year-round for installers, crew leads, brand ambassadors, measure technicians, and office staff, so it is worth reaching out even if your role does not say open.
How does pay work?
It depends on the role. Installation and office roles are hourly, brand ambassador roles are hourly plus performance bonus, in-home sales is commission based with strong earning potential, and production management is salaried. [Add Global Home's specific ranges here.]
What certifications will I earn on the job?
Field team members are trained in lead-safe work practices required for older homes, OSHA safety standards including fall protection, and manufacturer installation certifications on premium product lines. These are real, portable credentials that raise your value across the trade.
Is the work seasonal?
Exterior remodeling runs year-round in the tri-state area, with the busiest stretch in the warmer months. An established company with a steady project pipeline across three states offers more consistent work than a small seasonal outfit.
How do I apply?
Use the apply link below or reach out through our contact page and tell us which role interests you. For field and entry roles, a quick note about your experience and availability is enough to get the conversation started.
